99% UNKNOWN

Can we reshape the world on a grand scale with what we do on a small scale? This was the question that inspired the deep dive into the body’s mysteries at a cellular level, giving life to the performance 99% Unknown. Microcosmos reflected in macrocosmos in a quest to physically articulate and capture the magic of being alive through the lens of a circus artist.

99% Unknown marks the opening chapter of Tilde Björfors trilogy exploring the essences of what it means to be human. World premiere in Dusseldorf Festival in Germany on September 17, 2004, one of the co-producers of the show. Followed by a tour across Europe and Asia including an extended run at Dansens Hus in Stockholm.
